Yin Chen Hao is a medium-sized perennial herb with an upright stem, thin, feathery leaves, and clusters of tiny composite flowers.
Over 2,000 years have passed since Yin Chen Hao was first employed in Chinese herbal medicine. The Divine Husbandman's Classic (Shen'nong Bencaojing), which was composed in the first century CE, is the first source to identify its therapeutic effects.
Yin chen hao is a South-East Asian native that is grown in China and other countries in the Far East. In the spring, the young plants are harvested.
