Hemp Agrimony

Epatorium cannabinum

Hemp Agrimony is a perennial that reaches a height of 1.5 meters (5 feet). It has downy leaves, a crimson stem, and numerous clusters of pink to mauve flowers.

In the early Middle Ages, Avicenna (980–1037 CE) and other Arabian physicians were aware of hemp agrimony.

Hemp agriculture, originally from Europe, is currently grown across western Asia and North Africa. It grows on wasteland, in ditches, marshes, and moist woods, and is harvested in the summer when it is in bloom.
