Asian Plum

Prunus mume

An evergreen tree that is 10 feet tall (33 ft). has late budding, pointy, oblong to oval foliage, and yellow fruit. The results of Chinese laboratory studies suggest that Asian plum fruit contains antibiotic characteristics. The Asian plum's acidic flavor and astringency are used in Chinese medicine to treat coughs, cease bleeding, and treat diarrhea and dysentery. Additionally, it could work to get rid of hookworms. To speed up recovery, a paste of the fruit is applied topically to the locations of warts and acorns that have been removed.
