Albizzia lebbeck

20 m tall deciduous tree (65 ft) has large, lustrous, pale yellow seed pods; white, aromatic blooms, and compound foliage. Research Laboratory studies have demonstrated the plant's ability to lessen allergy sensitivity, and a clinical trial suggested it may be beneficial in the treatment of asthma. Weeping eczema considerably improved with albizzia topical treatment reported in a different clinical study. The plant's products also have antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. The seed pods' saponins have anti-fertility and anti-protozoal properties.
