Agrimony

agrimonia eupatoria

A 1 m-tall, upright, downy perennial with a mild scent (3 ft). has double leaves that are green top and shiny green bottom, as well as tiny, 5-petalled yellow flowers that are grown on terminal stalks. Due to its ability to stop bleeding and promote the development of clots, agrimony has been administered by herbalists for centuries to treat wounds. It is a moderate tonic for the digestive system as a whole, an effective cure for diarrhea, and an abrasive and mildly bitter. It is an effective treatment for cystitis and urinary dysfunction when coupled with other herbal remedies like cornsilk. It has also been utilized to treat kidney stones, rheumatism, hoarseness, sore throats, and arthritis. Studies in China have demonstrated the anti-inflammatory and blood-staunching capabilities of agrimony.
